Interior Folding Door
This range is available in 3, 4 5 and 6 door systems, using 1'9", 2'0" or 2'3" internal doors to create a modular selection that can be used to fit most door openings. These doors are top hung giving you a seamless transition between rooms when doors are folded back. Your door will be supplied with a frame pack, hinges, running hardware and head track in an easy to assemble kit. The frame packs are supplied in unfinished oak only. This allows you to choose the decoration of your choice to match existing skirtings and architraves. Handles and drop bolts are not provided so you can choose your own to match existing ironmongery or match your décor.
What is a Pattern 10 Door?
The phrase ‘pattern 10’ refers to the design of the door. Put simply, a pattern 10 door has one large flat panel inset into the door. A similar design is the shaker door, which is made up of a flat central panel surrounded by a raised frame. The panel could be made of the same material as the door, but in the case of these internal bifold doors, the panel is glazed. This simple design allows maximum light flow and gives you a great view of adjoining rooms. It’s a popular choice for those who want to keep an open feel to their home.
What Does White Primed Mean?
Your white primed doors have had a primer applied in the factory to protect the wood. This is not the final finish of the door, but rather a base coat to allow you to paint in the colour of your choice. With a high-quality factory primer coat already applied, you can get a great finish with your top coat. Please note these doors do need to be fully finished before hanging to fully validate the manufacturer’s guarantee.
