The Mexicano oak door offers great quality at a great price and is amongst the most popular of our oak internal doors. Mexicano oak has set the current trend and continues to grow in popularity due to its simple and uniquely versatile design. Sometimes also known as the Mexicana and manufactured by a range of companies including LPD, these perennially popular internal oak doors offer an elegant design of panels with deep grooves that is equally at home in modern or traditional homes and in any room.

Besides their obvious aesthetic value, they have a warm appearance that creates an instantaneous classic feel and lends a palpable sense of luxury to any home. The Mexicano is an engineered solid core door with an oak veneer, giving you a fantastic quality finish without the high price of solid oak. This is the unfinished version for you to treat as you wish, but we also have the prefinished oak option here.

If you require a little more light to help open up a room, Mexicano glazed oak doors work incredibly well with other oak doors, and oak furniture in general. The light woods will not only complement each another perfectly, but will really help the room breathe and lock in that warm, natural light. 

These doors have solid 18mm lippings as standard on all doors sizes above 24" ( 610mm). They are also available in FD30 rated fire doors, meaning they will prevent the passage of fire and smoke for minimum 30 minutes. If you prefer a different finish, Mexicano doors are also available in white and light grey.
